IU School of Medicine offers a three-year ACGME-accredited Gastroenterology Hepatology Fellowship as well as continuing medical education (CME) programs and an annual GI Update course.

Gastroenterology Fellowship Training

The Division of Gastroenterology/Hepatology offers categorical fellowship training as well as subspecialty training in advanced endoscopy.

Continuing Medical Education

The Annual GI and Hepatology Update, hosted by IU School of Medicine, is a two-day CME event covering the latest in GI, liver, and pancreatobiliary diseases, with sessions for primary care providers. It attracts over 200 attendees, including gastroenterologists and nurses. The ERCP Workshop offers advanced endoscopy CME and non-CME courses. Details for the 2025 event are pending.

Hoosier IBD Gut Club

The Hoosier Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) Gut Club features quarterly case conferences. Attendees engage in cordial discussions on three IBD patient cases. Experts share evidence-based insights on management during the event.
