Advanced Endoscopy Treatments

Patient care covers pancreatic conditions like pseudocysts, pancreas divisum, pancreatitis, and Sphincter of Oddi dysfunction. Additionally, it includes managing biliary disorders such as sclerosing cholangitis, strictures, and the role of ERCP in these conditions. When x-rays show papillary or duct blockages, gastroenterologists may perform immediate treatments like balloon dilation, sphincterotomy, stenting, or drainage tube placement.

Endoscopic Ultrasound

In 1987, IU School of Medicine established the Endoscopic Ultrasound Service, ranking third in the US to offer this clinical service. National and international GI endoscopy leaders have trained here and spread this service globally.

IU School of Medicine's Endoscopic Ultrasound team comprises experienced experts, providing high-volume outpatient and inpatient services for diverse diagnostic and therapeutic needs. It's an integral part of managing complex medical conditions through a multi-disciplinary approach.

Innovative and Third Space Endoscopy
