Cynthia L. Bodkin is an associate professor of clinical neurology with research interests in neuromuscular diseases and sleep disorders. She serves as co-director of The Indiana University ALS Center at IU Health.
May is ALS Awareness Month. Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a terminal neurodegenerative disease, with nearly 35,000 documented cases in the United States. There is currently no known cure for ALS.
