Apply for the Macy Faculty Scholars Program

Applications are open now for the Macy Faculty Scholars Program. Faculty members with three to eight years of experience and an idea for a scholarly project focused on academic medicine can apply. Internal applications are open through May 30 and IU School of Medicine can put forth one candidate for this limited-submission application.

Nominate colleagues for any of six awards by June 10

It's award season! The nomination forms for six awards — recognizing excellent faculty mentoring, research laboratories, inspirational educators, community engagement, scholar-educators and teaching impact — are open now. Nominate colleagues or yourself; just be sure you do so by June 10.

Participate in fun, laughter and friendly competition

Gather a team of four to eight colleagues — or register as an individual and be teamed up with new members of your professional network — who hope their useless knowledge will pay off in bragging rights at the inaugural Faculty and Staff Trivia Night, June 3. Register by May 20! (Group names due on Trivia Night!)

(We also like to come together to do good and have fun. At left, the FAPD team partnered with Random Acts of Flowers to create dozens of bouquets of flowers for patients at IU Health and other central Indiana hospitals.)
