Our program is committed to providing a holistic review of applications and ensuring an equitable and transparent application process. We are seeking applicants who are trailblazers interested in developing and improving the program to meet the resident and community needs with demonstrated excellence in our core values of clinical excellence, compassionate patient-centered care, evidence-based curiosity and scholarship, and resilience.
To realize this, we:
- Only accept applications through ERAS; all positions are filled through the NRMP Match
- Are committed to accepting the best candidates, regardless of their medical school or national origin
- Utilize a holistic review of applicants’ experiences, strengths and growing edges
- Review, but not base interview decisions, on applicant’s signals
- Utilize virtual interviewing and standardized behavioral interview questions reflecting our core values to reduce bias
- Never invite more applicants to interview than the number of spots we can honor
- Require all faculty participating in recruitment to undergo additional bias prevention training
- Do NOT sponsor externships/observerships
2025-26 Recruitment and Interview Information
We are excited to download completed applications for review on Sept. 25, 2025.
Please note: It is strongly recommended that applicants with a serious interest in our program signal our program and region using the ERAS tiered signaling option.
We plan to extend our first round of interview invitations no later than Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2025. Additional interview invitations may be extended later as availability arises, but will only be sent out on Tuesdays and Fridays. After an invitation is sent, we will allow no more than seven days for responses from applicants.
Virtual interviewing will commence on Friday, Oct. 24, 2025.
Interviews will consist of a welcome from department, regional and program leadership, a virtual information and question/answer session, and a half day of virtual interviews. The interviews will take place on either Wednesdays or Fridays mornings and afternoons between Oct. 24, 2025 and Dec. 19, 2025 with the potential of further dates being added.
