Thank you for your interest in the Indiana University School of Medicine Movement Disorders Fellowship.
Our one-year fellowship program delivers rigorous clinical training and prepares trainees for careers in both academic medicine and clinical practice. Fellows care for a diverse patient population while working alongside a multidisciplinary team dedicated to high-quality, patient-centered care.
The curriculum emphasizes hands-on learning and progressive independence. Fellows spend most of their time at Goodman Hall, where outpatient clinics, neuroimaging, neuropsychology and neurosurgery services are integrated in a single location. This environment supports a collaborative approach to patient care and provides exposure to a wide range of movement disorders, from common conditions to more complex and rare diagnoses. Fellows also rotate at Eskenazi Hospital and the Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center.
Research is encouraged and supported throughout the fellowship. Fellows have the opportunity to participate in clinical and translational projects and the potential to present their work at conferences or department forums.
Our faculty provide individualized mentorship and foster a supportive learning environment. We are committed to helping fellows develop as clinicians, educators and researchers, and to preparing them for the next stage of their careers.
Thank you for your interest in the program, and we look forward to connecting with you!
