Alyssa Geisler joined the Office of Strategic Communications in 2019. In her role as content manager, Alyssa designs, writes, tests and improves web content for diverse users and audience journeys. She serves as the editor for dozens of decentralized web leads across all nine campuses, ensuring quality, compliance, accessibilty and consistency across the school's website. Additionally, Alyssa trains content creators to use the school's CMS and design system, provides ongoing technical assistance and collaborates to improve content processes across the school.
Alyssa moved back home to Indiana after eight years in Salt Lake City, UT, where she held communications roles at Huntsman Cancer Institute and the University of Utah. She also served as an AmeriCorps VISTA at Utahns Against Hunger.
She earned her bachelor's degree in public communications and literature from American University in Washington, DC.
