Serving as director of digital marketing, Chris Cline is responsible for directing, monitoring and reporting on how the Indiana University School of Medicine can extend its reach and impact through its digital marketing channels. In support of strategic leadership priorities, Chris leads a team of highly skilled and competent professionals that execute on web development, search engine optimization/marketing, digital content strategy, analytics, social media, branding, design and photography.

Working closely with University Communications and Marketing, Chris ensures the enforcement of university policies and alignment with top-level priorities. In this capacity, he frequently contributes to process and strategy improvements for the broader university. 

Prior to joining the IU School of Medicine in 2015 as a web analyst, Chris worked as an SEO consultant for an Indianapolis based digital marketing agency. In this role he provided consulting services for some of the nation’s top brands and Fortune 500 companies. Chris earned an undergraduate degree in 2005 from Indiana Wesleyan University.
