Medical students interested in applying to the Vascular Surgery residency program at Indiana University School of Medicine must meet eligibility requirements and apply through the Electronic Residency Application Program (ERAS®) program.
The Vascular Surgery Residency program at IU School of Medicine will offer three interview dates for the 2025 NRMP® Match Season:
- October 29, 2024
- November 12, 2024
- December 10, 2024
All interview dates are on Tuesday. Applicants offered interviews will be invited to virtual indications conference Monday afternoon followed by our resident meet and greet.
Minimum Requirements for U.S. Graduates
- Completed ERAS® Application with photo.
- Three letters of recommendation, one of which must come from either a surgery program chair or surgery program director.
- USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 CK Scores submitted; we do not accept COMLEX scores.
- Medical School Transcript
- Must not be more than 2 years removed from medical school training.
- Personal Statement
Minimum Application Requirements for Foreign Medical Graduates (FMG)
- Completed ERAS® Application with photo.
- Three letters of recommendation, one of which must come from either a surgery program chair or surgery program director.
- USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 CK Scores submitted.
- Medical School Transcript
- Personal Statement
- Must not be more than 2 years removed from medical school training.
- Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) Certificate acquired at least 60 days prior to start of anticipated residency start date.
- We will only sponsor J1 visas – no exceptions.
