Welcome to the Vascular Surgery Residency program at Indiana University School of Medicine. Led by national leaders in vascular training, our program develops your skills to care for both simple and complex surgical patients in a supportive learning environment while fostering competency and increased autonomy in the operating room. Our program is a comprehensive five years of clinical training with two dedicated years of required professional development time.
Our clinical experiences are provided by IU Health, Eskenazi Health, and the Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center located both downtown and around suburban Indianapolis, offering a comprehensive exposure to the breadth and depth of surgical practice, both in the operating room and at the bedside.
Graduates from our program seamlessly transition to either the academic or private practice setting in both urban and rural areas. Our program provides opportunities for residents to foster their own personal and professional growth, as well as offering ample support and flexibility for our residents when needed.
