Educational research sessions

MIRI hosts a biennial imaging research event to feature the latest imaging research from the institute and share thematic research from leading imaging researchers from around the world. It is an opportunity for us to broaden our knowledge and discuss timely innovations and research in radiology.

This is a monthly research seminar series run by the MIRI education committee. Invited imaging sciences experts from Indiana present their research findings to faculty, postdocs and students. The seminar series provides an opportunity for researchers to acquaint themselves with new ideas and technologies and pursue new collaborations. A calendar featuring upcoming speakers for the monthly seminars will be publicized regularly.

The quarterly MIRI research grand rounds provides a platform for continuing education, professional development and collaboration for imaging science researchers and healthcare professionals, featuring complex cases and emerging research. National and international experts present their latest findings and meet in person with students and faculty. These informative grand round sessions enable clinicians and researchers to sharpen their reasoning and stay current in their fields.

Postdoctoral training

Postdoctoral research fellowships in cardiovascular imaging and neuroimaging research will be regularly posted on our careers page. Those interested in these and other opportunities can check the page for updates.
