Advanced imaging is integral to the diagnosis and treatment of the most severe health issues, including heart disease, cancer and neurological diseases. Scientists and clinicians at the Medical Imaging Research Institute (MIRI) are addressing some of the most life-threatening health conditions, including heart disease and neurological diseases.
Housed within the Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences, MIRI is on the brink of developing the next generation of imaging diagnostic tools while supporting the development of new therapies by helping discern whether novel treatments are working.
Through the support of federal grants, foundational grants and private gifts, we can improve our understanding of human disease and in turn improve clinical delivery.
For more information on how to give to the Medical Imaging Research Institute, please contact Linda Altmeyer, director of MIRI administration.
