Approved requests continue. Declined requests receive feedback within four weeks of submission.

Accept Terms

Agreements are to protect the privacy of study participants, ensure appropriate use of the resources identified in the request, and ensure NIH/NIA is acknowledged in any publications and presentations.

If a resource request is approved:

An estimate for any reimbursable costs to be incurred by the IADRC will be provided to the requesting lab for approval.
A sharing agreement will be sent to the PI for signature. This agreement includes any limitations on the use of samples, grant acknowledgments and any other conditions if needed.

Resource Provided

Once costs are approved (or if there aren’t any costs to the requestor) and the sharing agreement is executed, the IADRC lab will schedule the sample/data preparation.
