Giving

Gifts to the Indiana Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center (IADRC) at the Indiana University School of Medicine support both critical research and educational programs. Your donations are essential to the fight against Alzheimer's disease and other dementias.

Accelerating Scientific Discovery

Donations directly fund the IADRC's cutting-edge research. Scientists are working to find the causes of Alzheimer's and to develop better ways to diagnose and treat it. A key focus is on using blood biomarkers and advanced brain scans like PET and MRI. These tools help researchers detect the disease earlier and track its progression. This work accelerates drug development and helps move discoveries from the lab into clinical trials, getting us closer to a cure.

Spreading Knowledge

Beyond the lab, your support powers educational initiatives for medical professionals and the community. The IADRC trains the next generation of dementia researchers and clinicians. It also provides vital resources and information to the public, helping families and caregivers better understand and navigate the challenges of Alzheimer's. By investing in both research and education, your gifts contribute to a future where Alzheimer's is no longer a devastating diagnosis.

Dianne Trauring and Nancy Carpenter lost their mother in 2010 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Stories like theirs drive Indiana University School of Medicine researchers to further advance global collaboration of dementia research to prevent and effectively treat Alzheimer’s disease.

Support a better future

Through the support of community members throughout the state, the Indiana Alzheimer's Disease Research Center is transforming research advancements in the area of Alzheimer's disease and other types of dementia. Help us continue our efforts in discovering effective treatments and preventions by making a donation today.
