Division of Pediatric Urology

The Indiana University School of Medicine Department of Urology Division of Pediatric Urology is one of the largest pediatric urology programs in the country, with seven full-time teaching faculty and four nurse practitioners. The division takes on more clinical cases per year than any other program in the country through IU School of Medicine’s partnership with Indiana University Health and Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health. This is the only pediatric urology division in the state of Indiana and is consistently ranked as one of the top five pediatric urology programs in the country by U.S. News & World Report each year based on national reputation, quality outcomes and surgical case and outpatient clinical volume.

Experts in this division specialize in researching and treating many pediatric urology conditions, which range from common pediatric and adolescent urologic problems to complex genital abnormalities. Some of these conditions can cause major physical and emotional difficulties for children as they grow and mature. The division is committed to researching new treatments for these conditions and educating the next generation of pediatric urologists to improve the health of children through the urology residency program and the top-ranked pediatric urology fellowship program.
