The John P. Donohue, MD, Alumni Society

The Department of Urology at Indiana University School of Medicine is proud to announce the creation of the John P. Donohue, MD, Alumni Society.

John P. Donohue’s legacy at IU and in the field of urology is unparalleled. As former chair of the Department of Urology, Donohue was instrumental in building one of the nation's premier urology programs. His groundbreaking surgical techniques, particularly in the management of testicular cancer, have saved countless lives and set new standards of excellence in urologic oncology. Beyond his clinical impact, Donohue was a devoted mentor, teacher and leader who helped shape generations of urologists who now serve patients across the world.

The John P. Donohue, MD, Alumni Society honors his extraordinary contributions and creates a lasting community for our alumni. Through this society, we aim to foster connections among alumni, celebrate the achievements of our graduates and continue building on the tradition of excellence that Donohue established.

As a member of the John P. Donohue, MD, Alumni Society, you will:

  • Stay connected with the department’s growth in clinical care, research and education.
  • Receive updates on major initiatives, alumni events and opportunities to support the department's future.
  • Help sustain Donohue’s legacy by inspiring and supporting the next generation of urologists trained at IU School of Medicine.

We invite you to join us in celebrating this exciting new chapter. Your ongoing connection to IU School of Medicine and the Department of Urology strengthens our community and propels us forward.
