Sharing resources and techniques to advance research

The Stark Neurosciences Research Institute supports a broad array of shared scientific facilities designed to advance the effort of the Indiana University School of Medicine. Core facilities are an integral component of the research enterprise. These shared user facilities are specialized laboratories with unique technologies, instruments and services that are managed by scientists with deep technical expertise. Housed within the Neurosciences Research Building, the fee-for-service cores provide investigators access to a variety of instrumentation and supplies the scientific expertise necessary to effectively use this technologies to enhance the scope and quality of scientific research performed.
