Data Meetings allow researchers to present ongoing work, receive constructive feedback, gather comments, and address roadblocks, fostering collaboration and enhancing the quality and progress of their research projects.

ICMH members are invited to an informal discussion with Dr. Lin Yang (Brookhaven National Laboratory) on November 5 from 4-5 p.m. at IUSM. Dr. Yang will highlight research capabilities available through the National Synchrotron Light Source II (NSLS-II), including muscle diffraction and advanced imaging technologies with potential applications in muscle, bone, and musculoskeletal research. The session will also provide an opportunity to learn about collaboration opportunities, access to beamtime, and how these resources can support preliminary data generation and future grant applications. Monthly meetings where the Trauma, Regeneration, and Rehabilitation research team present updates on their research focusing on developing patient-specific interventions.

The Metabolic Bone Disease research team, formally known as the MMAP team will meet every third Wednesday. Topics range from CKD mineral bone disorder (CKD-MBD), to clinical work on HRqCT, to aging and GLP-1 use. The group has been ongoing for a number of years focused on CKD-but welcomes newcomers! The format is one lab presents for 30-40 minutes and then open discussion about collaborations and techniques.
