Hospital Medicine

Indiana University School of Medicine faculty physicians specializing in Hospital Medicine care for patients who are admitted to the hospital, managing complex conditions in collaboration with consultants and multidisciplinary teams. These hospitalists serve multiple clinical sites across Indianapolis, including IU Health Methodist and University Hospitals, Eskenazi Hospital, and the Roudebush VA Medical Center. With over 100 faculty members, they represent one of the largest Hospital Medicine groups in Indiana.

In addition to providing excellent, evidence-based and compassionate care, faculty in the Division of Hospital Medicine train and teach the physicians of tomorrow. The division propels the efficient and safe running of hospital operations and is instrumental in safety and quality initiatives. The hospital medicine team engages in scholarship and research and contributes to new knowledge in the field of hospital medicine.
