I'm originally from Bay City, MI and did my undergraduate degree in movement science at the University of Michigan. My research focus is currently on self-regulated learning, how students use online lectures and how instructors can use learning analytics. I'm also invested in flipped and blended classroom development. Outside of work/school I enjoy powerlifting, herping (aka finding reptiles and amphibians out in the woods) and hanging out with my two cats, Midna and Meatloaf.

I’m originally from Phoenix, AZ and received my bachelor’s degree in biomedical science from Northern Arizona University. Throughout high school and college, I gained teaching experience working in elementary schools across the state. My research focus is on specifications grading, and how this alternative grading approach helps improve student work ethic and motivation and reduces stress levels. Outside of school, I love going to concerts and crafting!

I grew up in Arizona and got my undergraduate degree at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. While Bloomington may not have the same scenic mountains as Utah, I still love to get out into nature, hiking, kayaking, usually with my dog, Olive.
My current research interests are in motivation theory, motivational design and instrument development to measure student motivations in the anatomy classroom.
