Center for Proteome Analysis

The Center for Proteome Analysis at Indiana University School of Medicine provides protein and proteomic analysis services for protein identification, characterization, and quantification. The center encourages collaborations that apply the tools of proteomics to cutting-edge biomedical research.

The Center for Proteome Analysis is a world-class proteomics core lab providing services and collaborations to meet the critical needs of biomedical researchers in life sciences.

The center's mission is to provide analytical resources for qualitative and quantitative analysis of macromolecules and to foster critical collaborations in proteomics and multi-omics applications. We support research projects from both internal and external clients.

Services

Help designing proteomics experiments and grant support letters.

Global identification of proteins in a sample. This may include peptide fractionation to increase proteome coverage. De novo sequencing and analysis of proteins from unsequenced organisms are available.

Data analysis, data consultation, re-analysis from a previous study or from data on ProteomeXchange.

Tandem mass tag labeling, fractionation, and quantification of proteins from cell culture or tissue

*Biological triplicate necessary for statistics*

Identification of proteins from a gel band, immunoprecipitation, or affinity purification.

*Biological duplicate recommended for publication*

We are a Certified Service Provider of Olink Proteomics, a high-throughput, sensitive platform used to identify and quantify human biomarkers in small amounts of biofluid(s), secretomes, isolated exosomal vesicles, and/or protein lysates. Olink is qPCR or high-throughput sequencing based (the latter performed in a collaborative arrangement with the Center for Medical Genomics).

Wonder if your biomarker(s) of interest are included in one of the multiple Olink platforms? Use this biomarker search tool to find out!

Phosphopeptide enrichment, tandem mass tag labeling, fractionation, and quantification of phosphopeptides from cell culture or tissue.

*Biological triplicate necessary for statistics*

Thermal Proteome Profiling (TPP), an assessment of protein thermal stability.

*Biological triplicate necessary for statistics*

Extra figures, data analysis, writing consultation, and upload of all project data to a publicly available source for publication submission.
