The neuroradiology fellowship at IU School of Medicine is an ACGME accredited one-year program that offers an option for a second year focused on research and subspecialty training in advanced imaging, head and neck imaging, or pediatric neuroimaging. This fellowship is designed to intensively train radiologists to become adept at all aspects of diagnostic neuroimaging. One of the program’s strengths is providing an abundant and diverse caseload where fellows can experience the full range of neuropathology.
Program faculty are fellowship trained, ABR CAQ-certified neuroradiologists who present weekly didactic lectures and case conferences. Mentorship in both the clinical and academic settings is available for future neuroradiologists as part of this fellowship.

The IU neuroradiology fellowship is a hidden gem. Not too many neuroradiology fellowships have enough volume to not only have a neuroradiology fellowship, they also have a pediatric neuroradiology and head and neck oncology fellowship available. I felt well versed in adult/ pediatric and head and neck neuroradiology when I graduated. It is also a very collegial group and still consider many of the attendings my friends.

Mission and Leadership
The neuroradiology program is dedicated to creating an excellent learning experience for trainees. The program excels in its clinical learning opportunities, year-long weekly didactic series, fellow educational opportunities and dedicated subspecialty experiences in head and neck radiology, pediatric neuroimaging and advanced neuroimaging. This program helps fellows become excellent clinical neuroimaging specialists while providing mentorship enabling fellows to succeed.
