Indiana University School of Medicine—Evansville conducts research in some of the most crucial areas of medicine.
Anchored by the Mary O’Daniel Stone and Bill Stone Center for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, IU School of Medicine—Evansville is positioned to become a leader in the Midwest for psychiatric and neuroscience research for children and adolescents. Researchers at Stone are working to advance prevention and treatment of mental health disorders through community-based programs, fundamental research on the developmental underpinnings of brain disorders, and outcomes-based research using a first-of-its-kind data lake.
The Evansville campus offers a wide array of opportunities for students and residents to work alongside PhD scientists and clinicians on these topics, as well as projects spanning other areas of health. Additionally, the school maintains strong ties to local healthcare organizations conducting clinical trials and quality improvement initiatives in Southwest Indiana.
