CME Event on Friday, Aug. 28

The 50th Anniversary CME Event will be held in the recently opened Medical Education and Research Building, a state-of-the-art facility on the Indiana University School of Medicine Indianapolis campus. Designed to foster collaboration, innovation and discovery, the Medical Education and Research Building represents the next generation of medical education spaces — bringing together advanced simulation labs, flexible learning environments and cutting-edge research resources.

Parking 

  • Those with IU parking permits are encouraged to park in an appropriate lot (employee and student spots nearby) near Fairbanks Hall and use the shuttle stop outside the Medical Education and Research Building.
  • Those with IU parking permits may also park on the main campus and use the IU Health Downtown Shuttle that picks up outside of several campus locations and drops off at the Neuroscience Center.

Gala on Saturday, Aug. 29

The 50th Anniversary Gala will take place in the elegant Clowes Ballroom at the Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art, one of Indianapolis’ most distinctive cultural landmarks. Founded in 1989 by philanthropist Harrison Eiteljorg, the museum is celebrated for its world-class collections that highlight the art, history and cultures of Native America and the American West.

Throughout the evening, guests will enjoy exclusive access to the entire museum, offering a unique opportunity to explore inspiring works that reflect creativity and storytelling. Complimentary parking is available in the museum’s underground garage. Enter the White River State Park underground parking garage from Washington Street.
