Join us for a memorable evening as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Emergency Medicine Residency program at the stunning Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art in Indianapolis — a fitting milestone for five decades of educating physicians, advancing emergency care and building lifelong relationships. The night will bring together current residents, alumni from near and far, faculty, staff and leadership to reflect on our shared history, honor outstanding contributors and connect in a setting of art, culture and celebration. Explore first-floor galleries, engage with colleagues and enjoy an elegant evening of dining, recognition and dancing as we look forward to the next 50 years.

Gala Program

5:30–6:45 p.m. | Welcome Reception and Gallery Exploration
Arrive, check in and enjoy hors d’oeuvres and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Explore the Eiteljorg’s first-floor galleries and interact with the 360 Video Booth.

6:45–7 p.m. | Transition to Dinner
Guests are invited to move to the Clowes Ballroom for dinner and the evening program.

7–7:10 p.m. | Opening Welcome and Toast
A brief welcome and toast to five decades of service, education and leadership in emergency medicine.

7:10–8 p.m. | Dinner Service
Plated dinner with dessert served at your table. Enjoy conversation and reconnecting with colleagues, alumni, faculty, staff and honored guests.

8–9 p.m. | Guest Remarks, Reflections and Awards
A series of short remarks from department leaders, alumni and special guests, followed by presentation of recognition awards including:

  • Founders’ Legacy Award
  • Distinguished Alumni Award
  • Outstanding Resident Achievement Award
  • Department Service Recognition

9– 11 p.m. | Celebration: Dance, Galleries and 360 Video Booth
The rest of the evening is for celebrating however you like — dance to live music from the Bluewater Kings Band, continue exploring the museum galleries, mingle with colleagues and capture the night at our interactive 360 video booth.

11 p.m. | Farewell and Thank You
A final thank-you from the planning committee and department leadership.
