The Indiana University Medical Student Program for Research and Scholarship (IMPRS) facilitates medical student participation in various medical research and experiential opportunities ranging from summer programs with IU School of Medicine to year-long opportunities across the world.
CUPID Summer Research Program
The Cancer in the Under-Privileged Indigent or Disadvantaged (CUPID) Summer Research Program runs for nine weeks. Students complete a longitudinal research project in an oncology basic science laboratory and participate in structured shadowing with medical, surgical and radiation oncology to gain clinical experience in cancer care.
