This minor is a partnership between IU School of Medicine and the O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs and provides high-quality education to biomedical scientists who are pursuing careers related to public policy and public affairs. During this minor students complete coursework related to policy analysis and complete a one-semester, hands-on practicum experience to apply what you learned to a real-world setting. Previous students have completed experiences related to science policy in settings like the Indiana Department of Health and the Association of American Medical Schools.
