About Maria

Maria is embarking on an exciting new chapter as a development support specialist at IU School of Medicine. Her educational journey began at IU Indianapolis, where she pursued a major in elementary education. After graduating, Maria dedicated two years to shaping young minds as a middle school math and science teacher at Indianapolis Public Schools.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Maria finds fulfillment in life's simple pleasures. Whether it's savoring a refreshing iced coffee, enjoying leisurely walks or cherishing moments with her growing little family (husband and newborn), family holds a special place in Maria's heart.
