About Kenya
Kenya White serves as the faculty HR team lead at the Indiana University School of Medicine Faculty Affairs and Professional Development office, where she has been a dedicated member of the team since November 2021. In her role, she leads the faculty HR team while partnering with department leadership to provide thoughtful guidance and support across a wide range of human resources matters. A proud alumna of Indiana University Bloomington, Kenya earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Affairs with a specialization in Human Resources Management. She also holds a graduate certificate in human resource development from the Purdue School of Engineering and Technology and recently completed a Master of Science in Technology Leadership and Innovation.
Kenya is passionate about creating positive and supportive experiences for faculty members while helping navigate complex HR matters with clarity and care. Her work includes faculty relations, leaves of absence, ADA accommodations, policy interpretation, academic eDocs, faculty offers and other faculty-related HR transactions. She values building strong relationships, fostering collaboration and ensuring processes are handled with accuracy, professionalism and empathy. Outside of work, Kenya enjoys reading, creating, traveling and spending quality time with her family and friends.
