Elements trainings are here! Plan to attend in October or November

The Elements@IU team offers Elements Basics training, IU School of Medicine-specific Annual Review Workflow training and office hours for addressing individual challenges and questions. Trainings are scheduled for Oct. 17, 23 and 24. November dates to come. Learn what you need to know to prepare for your annual review!

Declare your interest in school-wide committee roles by Nov. 1

If you are a full-time faculty member who is eligible to vote in faculty elections, you received an email Oct. 1 inviting you to nominate yourself or others for school-wide committee roles. Complete the preferences survey no later than Nov. 1 to indicate your interest in taking advantage of this service opportunity.

Search under way for Center for Cancer Imaging Research director

The Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences is conducting a national search for a director for the newly commissioned Center for Cancer Imaging Research. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, highly collaborative cancer imaging investigator with a strong, extramurally funded research program.

With a shared focus on fostering excellence in teaching, research, clinical care and service, our team is passionate about empowering faculty members to thrive and make a lasting impact in academic medicine. 

(We also like to come together to do good and have fun. At left, the FAPD team partnered with Random Acts of Flowers to create dozens of bouquets of flowers for patients at IU Health and other central Indiana hospitals.)
