IU School of Medicine—West Lafayette is located on the campus of Purdue University. Like all IU School of Medicine statewide locations, the West Lafayette campus offers community participation opportunities and exceptional clinical education through student groups, medical service-learning programs and other extracurricular activities, and a strong partnership with local clinical providers to ensure students get authentic experience in applying basic science concepts to real patient cases.

Students at this campus enjoy a close-knit learning environment, strong faculty and peer collaboration, small class sizes, and reputable and engaged clinical partners.

Led by medical education and research experts, IU School of Medicine—West Lafayette follows the school’s statewide core MD curriculum. Faculty at this campus and throughout IU School of Medicine stay current with their own medical education and are involved in research projects, ensuring that future physicians and medical researchers training here get the best possible learning experiences.
