How to access the Nature Masterclasses On-Demand library

The Nature Masterclasses On-Demand library is available to Indiana University School of Medicine faculty with a valid IU email address. 

If you have never accessed the Nature Masterclasses On-Demand library (or have not accessed it since March 2026, when a revised on-demand experience launched), you will need to register for an account. As an IU School of Medicine faculty member, your account access is free through the school's institutional membership. 

Here's how to get started.

To register as a new user or re-register for the current platform

1. Go to https://www.nature.com/masterclasses/signup.
2. Select Indiana University School of Medicine as your educational institution, and click "Continue with selected institution."

You will be notified that you must log in using single sign-on. Click "Continue."

• Use your IU email credentials to log in.
• If you are already logged in to your IU email account (username@iu.edu), you will be directed to create a new account with Springer Nature.
• If you are already logged into your IU Health email account, you may need to log out and try again, logging in with your @iu.edu email address.
• If you are already logged into your IU Health email account, you can also try using an incognito/private browser window or using a browser you don't normally use (like Firefox, if you normally use Chrome) to log in to your @iu.edu account without having to log out of your IU Health account first.

If you have already registered for an account in the current platform, you will be directed to the Nature Masterclasses On-Demand home page.

If you have not already registered for an account, you be directed to the Create Account form.

1. Create your account using your @iu.edu email account.
2. Return to your email inbox and look for a message from Springer Nature.
3. Click the link in the email to verify your account.
4. You will then be directed to the Nature Masterclasses On-Demand home page.
