The Advancing Equity Scholars program is designed to support promising early-stage investigators in developing innovative research that addresses health disparities. This initiative offers selected scholars up to $30,000 in funding for 12-month pilot projects. The program provides comprehensive support, including access to clinical data, statistical and methodological assistance, grant writing consultations and ongoing mentorship from health equity leaders that serve on HEAL-R's Expert Bench. Scholars will have opportunities for collaboration and networking through regular seminars and events, with a focus on advancing equity in health care research.
