The clinical research team at the Department of Ophthalmology supports investigators across the research process. This includes submitting a confidential disclosure agreement (CDA) or a rapid review questionnaire (RRQ) for a collaborative research study.
Before starting the rapid review questionnaire, we recommend having the following information available:
- IRB number
- ClinicalTrials.gov number, if applicable
- Protocol number
- PDF copy of the study protocol
Confidential Disclosure Agreement
A CDA is a legal contract that outlines confidential information that may be shared between at least two entities but is not allowed to be shared with third parties.
Principal investigators should not be engaged in study-related discussions with third parties unless a CDA is in place. Principal investigators are not authorized to sign any confidentiality agreements before review and negotiation by the appropriate contracting office.
Once you have submitted the CDA or RRQ, the Ophthalmology Clinical Research Team will review your request and follow up with next steps.
If you have any questions or need assistance with your submission, please contact the Ophthalmology Clinical Research Team by email.
