<p>With a grant from the National Institute of Health&#8217;s National Institute on Aging, Indiana University School of Medicine will dramatically increase the size and scope of the biobank that stores DNA and other biological samples used by researchers globally to better understand, treat and hopefully cure Alzheimer&#8217;s disease. The grant is expected to last three years and total $12 million pending the availability of funds.</p>

Swimming, indoor track and workout equipment are available to house staff in Indianapolis at the Natatorium for a reduced rate (317-274-3518) and the National Institute for Fitness and Sport (317-274-3432). Residents and fellows are also allowed to use the fitness centers located at IU Health hospitals and at the VA Hospital.
