About Liz

Liz joined the IU School of Medicine in 2020. She is a veteran fundraiser having previously served as the director of development and communications at Exodus Refugee Immigration in Indianapolis as well as fundraising roles with Girls Inc. of Greater Indianapolis and the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis. In her current role, she is focused on connecting foundations and companies with opportunities to support medical research, student education and community outreach efforts at the School of Medicine.

Liz earned her master's degree in philanthropic studies from IU Indianapolis. In addition, she holds a bachelor’s degree in English with a minor in women’s studies from Ball State University.

In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her husband and two teenage children, riding her bike on Indy’s greenways and the Cultural Trail and monthly gatherings of the “Ladies of Leisure” book club.
