About Bobby

Bobby King joined the Office of Gift Development in 2018 as the director of development and alumni communications. He oversees all communications from the Office of Gift Development and tells the stories of physicians, students and patients whose lives are impacted by the School of Medicine.

Before joining our team, Bobby was a reporter with The Indianapolis Star newspaper. He has worked for newspapers throughout the Midwest and East Coast, among them The St. Petersburg Times, The Greenville News, and The Anderson Independent-Mail. He is a Kentucky native and earned a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Kentucky.

He and his wife Tammy have three daughters.
