About Michelle

Michelle Jones Petty has been a fundamental member of the Office of Gift Development and Alumni Relations team since 1988. She has held numerous positions over the years and served in instrumental roles in completing four capital fundraising campaigns that have raised over $1.6 billion. In her current role, she oversees donor relations and acknowledgments, gift processing, data management, reporting and prospect management. From August 2019 to March 2020, she served as interim senior associate dean for development and alumni relations.

Michelle earned her bachelor's degree in accounting from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business. She is married and has two children.
