About Matt

Matt joined the Office of Gift Development and Alumni Relations in 2015. He helps the office with communications needs and shares how students, physicians and patients are impacted by IU’s efforts to improve health.

Before coming to the School of Medicine, he spent nearly a decade as a newspaper reporter for publications in Missouri, Pennsylvania, Arkansas, and Louisiana. Matt is a Show-Me State native and earned degrees in history and journalism from the University of Missouri.

He and his wife Elloree reside in Indianapolis and share their home with two basset hounds.
