PrecISE Network logo

Riley Hospital for Children is a major site for the Precision Interventions for Severe and Exacerbation-Prone Asthma (PrecISE) Network, a novel study aimed at personalized, biomarker-driven therapies for severe asthma. There are five interventions focused primarily on non-T2 asthma. The study uses an adaptive trial design, similar to many studies in oncology, in which different novel therapies can be evaluated to identify the one(s) best suited to the patient. One of the five interventions makes use of discoveries that have been central to Project 1 of the Gaston lab's P01.
