Boost focus, reduce stress, and enhance your well-being in just one hour a week with a four-week mindfulness course designed for the IU School of Medicine community.

As medical students, managing stress and maintaining focus are essential for academic success and personal well-being. To support you in this journey, Kristen Heath, a lead advisor at IU School of Medicine and a Certified Mindfulness Teacher with the Mindfulness Institute for Emerging Adults (MIEA), is offering a four-week mindfulness course based on MIEA's evidence-based curriculum from the for the IU School of Medicine community. Register by April 11 to indicate your interest.

In just one hour per week, you'll learn practical mindfulness and meditation techniques designed to reduce stress, enhance concentration, and promote overall well-being. Previous participants have reported significant benefits, including a 30% reduction in stress levels, a 45% improvement in emotional regulation, and a 40% increase in overall well-being after completing the program. The course will be conducted over Zoom in a supportive group setting.

As part of the program, you'll receive free access to a mindfulness app to assist you. If you plan on participating, click below to share your availability and contact information.
