Note: At Indiana University, postdoctoral scholars can hold two types of appointments: postdoctoral appointee or postdoctoral fellow. If you are unsure which applies to your position, please reach out to your department's Human Resources business partner to confirm your appointment type.

Postdoctoral Fellow Medical Insurance

As an appointed postdoctoral fellow, your insurance coverage is effective on the first day of active employment as an eligible appointee and ends on the date you cease to be a member of this eligible class for coverage.
