Bio

Why I chose Family Medicine: I chose Family Medicine because it allows physicians to care for the whole person rather than just a disease. I appreciate the breadth of the specialty and the opportunity to be the first point of contact for patients listening to their concerns, helping them navigate a particular problem, and providing comprehensive, patient-centered care. The variety of clinical experiences and the emphasis on building meaningful long-term relationships with patients are aspects that I value. Why I chose IUSM at Deaconess Memorial: I chose the IUSM Family Medicine Residency at Deaconess Memorial Program because it offers the best of both worlds: the resources and educational opportunities of the Indiana University Health system while training in a close-knit community. I was drawn to the supportive learning environment, the opportunity for individualized mentorship, and the chance to care for patients in a community where physicians can build lasting relationships and truly make a difference. Personal interests and hobbies: Outside of medicine, I enjoy running, weightlifting, cooking, and photography.  These hobbies help me stay active, creative, and maintain a healthy work-life balance.
