Why I chose Family Medicine: I chose family medicine because it feels closest to the kind of doctor I’ve always wanted to be. Beyond diagnosing and treating, it’s about truly knowing patients and caring for them as whole individuals. I’ve found real fulfillment not just in the clinical work, but in building trust, listening, and following patients over time. That continuity and connection are what draw me to the field. It feels like where I belong. Why I chose the IU Family Medicine Residency Program: During my interview, I immediately felt welcomed and connected with the faculty and residents. The supportive environment was evident, and it felt like a place where I could grow both personally and professionally.  Interests and hobbies: I’m a big soccer fan and love following the games closely. I also enjoy watching other sports in my free time, cooking and trying new recipes, and taking long walks to relax and recharge.
