Bio

Why I chose Family Medicine: I chose family medicine because it truly reflects the values that have guided my path in medicine. Continuity, trust, and building meaningful relationships with patients. I’m drawn to the opportunity to care for individuals at every stage of life and to see how small, consistent efforts can lead to lasting improvements. Through my experiences, I’ve learned that being present, compassionate, and reliable is just as important as clinical knowledge, and family medicine allows me to bring all of that together while supporting patients over time.  Why I chose the IU Family Medicine Residency Program: I am especially interested in the IU Family Medicine Residency Program because of its strong focus on patient-centered care, teamwork, and well-rounded training. I appreciate programs that emphasize both clinical excellence and compassion, and IU’s diverse patient population along with its supportive learning environment align with my goal of becoming a versatile and empathetic physician dedicated to caring for patients and their families.  Interests and hobbies: I enjoy bowling, which has been an important part of my life since my teenage years and has taught me focus and perseverance. I also value spending time with my family and engaging in activities that help me stay grounded and balanced.
