Why I chose Family Medicine: I chose family medicine as a specialty mainly because I value continuity of care. But to dive deeper, I believe it's a specialty that truly allows both patient and physician to work together as a team to create a plan in the patient's best interest! I also appreciate that family medicine as a specialty is extremely multifaceted, as it provides a breadth of opportunity to practice a wide scope of medicine.   Why I chose IUSM at Deaconess Memorial: I believe the program at IUSM FMR will provide me with the skills and knowledge to become a well-rounded physician. During my interview I felt the program emphasized the importance of community and teamwork, which ultimately led me to choose this path.  Personal interests and hobbies: In my free time I enjoy going to the gym, dancing, reading, and ice skating!
