Why I chose Family Medicine: I chose family medicine for its emphasis on long-term patient relationships and because it allows me to provide comprehensive care for patients through all stages of life. It has the perfect balance of breadth and opportunity to develop specific areas of interest.  Why I chose the IU Family Medicine Residency Program: I chose the IU Family Medicine Residency Program because of the rigorous curriculum offered as well as the diverse learning opportunities and educational tracks. These features, coupled with an accomplished, supportive faculty, create an environment where I will continue to grow into a well-rounded family physician.  Interests and hobbies: Outside the hospital and clinic, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my husband and our three kids, running, reading, and playing piano.
