Bio

Hometown: Duanesburg, NYMedical school: Weill Cornell MedicineWhy IUEM: Great training with lovely people! My first job in emergency medicine after my undergrad was in a small community emergency department, but spending med school at a large academic center made me realize how much I love teaching and mentorship. IU gives me the opportunity to go back to my roots of serving the community with shifts at the local county hospital while still being able to teach in a more academic setting. On top of that, it was obvious from meeting the residents and faculty how positive the culture is. Everyone I met throughout interview day and second look were so kind, welcoming, and down-to-earth. It was obvious to me how much they cared about creating a supportive environment while still pushing you to be your best.Interests in EM: Medical education, advocacy, sports medicineHobbies: Martial arts, video games, singing
