Why I chose Family Medicine: Family medicine allows me to be an advocate for my patients, treating them in an integrative manner while nurturing long-term relationships built on trust, empathy, and continuity .With a strong foundation in both clinical medicine and community outreach, I am deeply committed to preventive care and addressing the unique needs of underserved populations. This specialty provides the opportunity to integrate my passion for patient-centered care, medical education, and cultural competency, ensuring that I can make a meaningful impact on both individual lives and the broader community.
Why I chose the IU Family Medicine Residency Program: I chose this program because of its commitment to comprehensive, full-spectrum training, offering a diverse range of subspecialty tracks and individualized learning opportunities. The ability to work with a large and diverse patient population further enriches the clinical experience. Beyond its strong academic foundation, IU fostered an environment of unwavering support, where faculty, staff, and residents created a welcoming and encouraging community. This sense of belonging, combined with the program’s dedication to excellence, solidified my decision that IU is the ideal place for my professional development and personal growth.
Interests and hobbies: In my free time, I enjoy traveling with my family, exploring diverse culinary experiences through cooking and baking, and capturing meaningful moments through my passion for photography.
