Bio

Why I chose Family Medicine: “Prevention is better than cure” is a philosophy which I embrace. Being in Family Medicine gives me the opportunity to provide preventative services to an array of patients so that they can avoid negative health outcomes. I am also passionate about providing continuous holistic care. This field again allows the opportunity for continuity of care which has a positive impact on patient outcomes especial when managing chronic diseases.

Why I chose the IU School of Medicine Family Medicine Residency Program at Memorial: Indiana University School of Medicine Family Medicine Residency Program at Deaconess Memorial Medical Center is grounded by a renowned academic institution and an amazing medical staff. The hospital has received The Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award as well as Magnet recognition which reflect both excellence in leadership and nursing, respectively.

Personal interests and hobbies: My interests include visual arts, makeup artistry and hiking.
